KEY CHALLENGES
You Need Advanced Technology to Improve Client Quality of Life, Reduce Staff Burnout and Avoid Costs of Falls and Wandering. We Can Help.
Home care and home health agencies are facing an economic environment where investment in advanced technology is critical. The question becomes what technology is best when it comes to improving quality of life for the millions of older adults who need help at home while also reducing staff turnover and burnout and reducing costs of situations such as falls or wandering due to dementia.
Families have more confidence in agencies that employ technology to both prevent and detect falls and to quickly recover a loved one who may have wandered. For caregiver staff, they want to upskill using advanced technology that helps prevent these crisis situations and support them in their role. And, agency executives want to reduce costs by avoiding increased insurance premiums, potential liability lawsuits and staff times needed to manage these crisis situations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Theora Connect watch be worn in the shower?
While the Theora Connect watch is compliant with the IP67 water resistance standard in case a user spills on it or accidentally washes their hands and splashes water on it – it is not waterproof (cannot immerse it such as swimming). If you are having trouble with the watch working, contact us and we can help troubleshoot but we do not replace watches that are water-damaged. Contact us here.
How long does the battery work before it has to be recharged?
A battery charge typically lasts 18-24 hours depending on the strength of the cellular provider you use. Contact our Customer Service for more details. Unless your loved one wanders at night, most wearers charge their watch at the same time they charge their phone at night. Contact us here.
Can the smartwatch work on WiFi?
Yes – while the watch uses cellular service for phone calls, the watch and app also work on local WiFi networks. This is helpful if you use the watch in Safe Zone mode where WiFi triggers an immediate alert if a geofence has been permeated.
