Quik Connect
The automatic-answering feature on the Theora Connect smartwatch allows the primary caregiver to simply push the Quik Connect button on the app. The loved one’s wearable automatically answers with your familiar voice coming through the Theora Connect speaker.
Should a loved one become confused, or is unable to answer, caregivers can still reach them via the auto-answering audio. Quik Connect is also an important feature for diffusing social isolation, when loved ones may live alone or find themselves in a shelter-in-place situation – no additional assistance is needed to hear and speak with family members.
The Connected Family Feature
An important communication feature of the Theora system is the Connected Family option that let’s the primary caregiver add trusted contacts who can call and be called by your loved one, using their Theora Connect. The primary caregiver can add family, friends, or professional caregiving contacts to the wearable just as you would add a contact to a smartphone.
Theora Link Pro is a free downloadable app, so if others in a loved one’s circle want to be connected to call or monitor a loved one’s activity, the primary caregiver can easily set this up. And only added contacts can call your loved one, annoying SPAM calls to the wearable are eliminated.

NO FEAR
Advanced AI-Powered Situational Awareness
Theora Care uses the most advanced technology in AI and Neural Networking to understand your activity and provide data that helps you track not just your steps and other social health information but also to see where you might be at risk for falling or other walking issues.
BENEFITS FOR FAMILY CAREGIVERS
Living With No Fear — Together
Caregivers need help and they need a break.
With Theora Care, our “always on, always listening” technology gives caregivers the confidence they need to take a respite break and know their loved one will be okay because you are still connected in real-time and you will be alerted if there is an issue.
You can also monitor in-home help by observing the information delivered to you by the Theora Rhythms data. Is your loved one’s routine the same or is there something you should be concerned about? Theora keeps you involved even if you are not there.
Caregivers and older adults want to live with “No Fear.”
Older adults may be worried about maintaining their solo activities or fearful of falls that can negatively impact their physical, emotional and social health. And for family caregivers, these fears are the same – how to help a loved one maintain quality of life and independence while still keeping them safe.
Our Theora Care technology system is the answer for older adults, those with autism or Down Syndrome and family caregivers.
Frequently Asked Questions
I want to buy the watch and the monthly subscription fee and Smart Fall Detection service for my Mom but it’s a little costly for my mom on a fixed income and my out-of-pocket costs for her care are already pretty high?
We understand that costs for technology can seem overwhelming but consider the cost to your mom if she falls and breaks a hip – painful surgery and rehabilitation can follow and these all these costs may or may be not covered by Medicare. Or if she fell and were on the floor for hours without help, how would that impact your emotional health? If you could spend the same amount as 10 coffee shop drinks a month or eating a fast food lunch or dinner 4 times a month to save both of you from these frightening situations, would it be worth it? Many of our customers can attest to the fact that our smartwatch saved their loved one’s life – whether because they wandered or we helped prevent or quickly detect a fall. Check the Detroit News story.
My Dad has an Apple watch and they are offering a fall detection app – how is your solution different?
First of all, our watch and system is less expensive! But, also not all fall detection apps are the same. Our advanced AI/neural networking technology is superior to other falls apps on the market because we can both predict and detect falls and distinguish between “hard falls” and “soft falls” which most other apps can not. Our precise data is a level above what others offer and provides you and your loved one more independence as well as a higher level of accurate situational awareness and real-time data.
My mom has a mobile PERS device – it’s a lanyard with a device where she can push a button if she falls and it calls 9-1-1 – isn’t that good enough?
There are many products on the market that claim to provide emergency response to a loved one in distress but your mom’s PERS only works if she can push a button. If she hits her head and is unconscious or faints, it won’t be of much use. Our Theora Connect uses AI to determine if a fall has happened and if the wearer is non-responsive, it will automatically call the caregiver to determine if the loved one is OK or is needing immediate help and cannot communicate. As well, if your loved one has Alzheimer’s and wanders, or even just becomes confused on where they are at, your mom’s PERS device will not work outside of the home, whereas our built-in GPS technology can locate your loved one within 15 feet of their current location no matter where they are. With our Quik Connect feature a caregiver and the wearer can speak with each other without the wearer having to answer a call. Our Theora Care system does it all using the most advanced technology available.
